“Heal me, O Lord and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved; for thou art my praise.” Jeremiah 17:14 KJV Wilbert James Volson Vallery, 62, passed on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Life Story Wilbert James Volson Vallery was born on May 8, 1958 in Pineville, LA. to the late Mattie Volson Battles and Woodrow Wilson Vallery Sr. Wilbert lived on Taylor Hill until his adult life, and later moved to Alexandria, LA. for the remainder of his life, where he met his loving wife, Nichelle Volson. Wilbert was a very hard working man. He could do just about any type of job. He was a U.S. Veteran. He served in the United States Army for four years. He used to love to play dominoes and cards. He also loved playing games on his phone. His favorite sport was baseball. He enjoyed bowling and watching movies. Wilbert is survived by his wife Nichelle Volson of Alexandria, LA, four children, Tyrone Peters (Tiffany), Jason Miles (Chaunee), both of Alexandria, LA., Aundre Miles ( Jackie) of Carencro, LA. and Santana Miles of Little Rock, Arkansas. Seven sisters, Deselle Volson, Nancy Wilson (James), Diana Harris, Myrtle Beverly, Helen Russell of Alexandria, LA., Beverly Banks of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Berniece Vallery Jones of Las Vegas, NV. Four brothers, Elmer Volson (Detra), of Lena, LA., Robin Volson (Becky), of Alexandria, LA. Silas Volson (Brenda), of Colfax, LA. and Woodrow Wilson Vallery Jr. of San Bernadino, CA., Mother-in-law, Gloria Piper of Alexandria, LA., eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
