I worked with Mr. Kenny for over 2 years at FUMCA. He was a hard worker and always very kindly asked me how my day was going and how my weekend was. I am so sorry to only just now seeing news of his passing. I pray for his family and send my deepest condolences.

I have known Mr. Austin for almost 20 years as a friend and Frat brother of his son, Kenny, Jr. Mr. Austin was always so cool and collected. I never once saw him
get mad or be anything other than “ok”.
He has left an amazing legacy thru his children and grandchildren.
My sincerest condolences to the family and to all those who knew him.

To all gathered today for my dear brother-in-law, Louis, I say thank you. He would be over joyed. His smile always made us feel as if he cared and it was personal each day he spoke to us. He had good things to say and when things did not go or look well he expressed concern and would offer to help. I remember this as we knew each other. Looking back on it, he had good advice. Louis always wanted to make sure everyone in our family was treated well. He was quiet but you knew he was interested in what was going on and he did not turn you away if you wanted to sit with him or talk. To all his beloved family and friends and our high school chairperson, who reached out to me, as you remember the wonderful memories of Louis also say a prayer for his sons, Kenny Jr and Jerold. When Jesus returns for us, we will rejoice with our loved ones, let's prepare for that day. Blessings and comfort to my family and others gathered today. Love, Sandra Jackson,

Mrs. Bee. That was what Kenny called me. I loved him so much and will miss him every day. FUMCA will never be the same without his warm heart and beautiful smile.

Mr. Kenny was the first face a lot of people saw when they came to First United Methodist Church. Everyone was greeted with a smile so big it was impossible not to return it with a smile of your own. He was a very special man and will be missed around 2727 Jackson Street. God Bless You Kenny Austin. Job well done. Rest In Peace.
