Obituary of Patricia Ann Jones

A Beautiful Journey…

Just a few days ago, God saw a beautiful flower in his garden and reached down for it.

On January 28, 1959 a precious baby girl named Patricia Ann Jones was born to the union of Ira Jones Sr. and Elnora Jones who both preceded her in death.

Patricia accepted Christ at an early age as her Lord and Savior; having been baptized by the late Reverend Roosevelt Shorter of Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church.

Patricia attended Bolton High School of Alexandria, LA  and graduated in the class of 1977. She worked at B &M Grocery for many years; was also employed at Sleep Inn and Super 8 until she relocated to Lake Charles LA in 2007. She then gained employment with Martin de Porres until she became ill and departed this life on February 1, 2019 and suffered no more.

Patricia leaves to cherish and remember he life her daughter Monique Lee, son Timothy Lee (Kourtney), Lake Charles, LA., Angela Jones (Odis), Janice Chew Jones of Houston TX. Ira Jones (Mae), Freedie Chew of Alexandria, LA. Floyd C. Jones, Robert C. Jones who have preceded her in death. Aunt Edura McDaniel of Houston, TX. Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Patricia’s wonderful and loving presence in our lives will be sorely missed, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of us all!
