Quarderrick D. McGinnis was born
May 28, 1984, to Keely McGinnis and Milton Pittman. Quarderrick departed this life on November 24, 2018, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.
Quarderrick “Pooh”, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Great St. Lawrence Baptist Church by Reverend Roy L. Cott, Sr.
He attended Rapides Parish Schools in Alexandria. He resided in Alexandria all of his life.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Milton Pittman; grandfather and grandmother, Annette and Willie McGinnis, Sr.; and grandmother, Eva Jean.
Quarderrick leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Keely McGinnis of Alexandria; one brother, Milton Holt; two aunts, Beverly Smith (Charles) and Juanita Harvey (Greg); two uncles, Willie McGinnis, Jr. (Netra) and Keith Cockerham, all of Alexandria; a great host of cousins, Anshinque Broderick (Ashley) McGinnis, Cedric McGinnis (Sharon), Gregory McGinnis (Ebony), Kimberly McGinnis, and Charquita Smith; special friends, Jay Duncantel and Gerald Lowe, and many other friends and family.
