Obituary of Dorothy Mae Moore

Life's Story

After Glow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an after flow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me" Psalm 23:4

Dorothy Mae Liggins Moore was born to the union of Ms. Rosalie Piper and Mr. Samuel Liggins Sr. on October 4, 1931 in Alexandria, LA. On Monday, November 26, 2018 she departed peacefully into her eternal resting place.
She accepted Christ, was baptized and became a member of First Evening Star B.C. at an early age and attended school in the Rapides Parish School System in Alexandria, LA.
