Obituary of Herman Johnson Sr.

Herman Johnson Sr., age 75 of Alexandria, Louisiana departed this life on November 6, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on Mach 26,1943 to the late Mr. Napoleon Sr. and Mrs. Pinky Johnson.  Herman was baptized at the age of 7 under the leadership of the late Rev. A. T. Copper of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church were he still served as a member until his death.  Herman Johnson Sr. worked at Holsum Bakery until his retirement.  He was a graduate of Peabody Magnet High School class of 1961.

Herman married Cheryl K Johnson On November 22, 1962.  To this union 4 children were born.

He is preceeded in death by his parents, Napoleon Johnson Sr. and Pinky Johnson; Wife, Cheryl K. Johnson; His Daughter, Mary Johnson; Two Sons, David Johnson and Troy Washington; Two Brothers, Napoleon Johnson Jr. and Robert Johnson; A sister, Ruby Green and two grandsons, Julius Erving Johnson Sr. and Darius Fuller.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Herman Johnson Jr. (Theresa), Olympius Johnson(Kellye); Two Sisters, Shirly Mccall (Willard) and Isabel Gaines; 
One brother, Bobby Johnson. Six grandchildren, Marquitta, Jordon, Emerson, Eboni, Tylon, and Hailey; Eight great-grandchildren, Tyree Jr, Ma'lani, Ma'leiyah, Antoine, George, Zariah, Brandon Jr., and Julius Jr..
