Gregory Brown was the ninth of 10 children, born on September 14, 1992 to the union of Gregory and Evelyn Yvonne Cann of Alexandria, Louisiana.  As a child he accepted Christ as his Savior.  He was baptized by Re. Raymond L. Franklin of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  He went on to become a member of the Annadale Missionary Baptist Church until his death.  He attended Alexandria Senior High School.  He was an employee of E. L. Kirkland Construction where they installed and repaired guard rails for the state of Louisiana.

Gregory departed this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at CHRISTUS ST. Frances Cabrini Hospital. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Bernadine Bacon Brown, uncle Robert Charles Brown Jr., brother Lloyd Gene Brown, Cousin Leslie Clayton, maternal great grand-parents Clyde and Mary Louise Bacon.  Great Aunt Clyde Anne Bacon, great uncle Harold Bacon, paternal grandmother Willie Lee Peace, paternal grandfather Sherman Williams, and paternal uncle Clint Bayonne.

Among those left to cherish his memories are parent Gregory and Evelyn Yvonne Cann; two brothers, Phillip D. Brown and Curtis R. Brown of Alexandria, LA; six sisters, Tiffany N. Brown, Aarika T. Hall (Ronald) of Alexandria, LA, Lloydreka D. Brown of Bunkie, LA, Chantal L. Voorheies (Kyreem), Shaquille M. Hollingsworth (Jonifer Sr.) of Alexandria, LA., Ge’ Daysha N. Cann of Monroe, LA.

A great host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
