Obituary of Glen Turnel Smith

Glen Turnel Smith, known by his friends as Fruit, left us on September 24, 2018, with his loving wife Mary Ann Smith of 27 years by his side.  He leaves to cherish his 2 daughters Jamila Alexis Smith, Danielle Lashay Smith, and his son Rodrick Jett -all of Alexandria. Glen was born October 21st, 1928 in Shreveport, LA to the late Willie and Beulah Simon Smith.  Glen retired from Cement Finisher after years of faithful service. He was well known and well loved by all his neighborhood friends and was an excellent cook.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents as well as his sisters, Bessie Smith, Doris Kirklin and, Gertrude Cyrique all from Alexandria, LA.

He will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews.
