Obituary of Diana Sue Wells

D ianna Sue Wells was born on October 26, 1953 to the late John Anderson and Lizzie M. Lee Wells in Alexandria, LA. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 7, 2018 in Dallas, TX.
D ianna accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. J. P. Anderson at New St. Mark Baptist Church due the death of Pastor Hallback at Philadelphia Baptist Church. Years later, she was united by Christian Discipleship with Hope of Glory Community Church of Dallas, where she served as an usher and became President of the Usher Board. D ianna worked diligently for her church; she showed love whole-heartedly with care and consideration in every way that she served. She was a dedicated and committed member until her passing.
D ianna was preceded in death by one infant son, Antonio Terrioance Wells, her parents, John and Lizzie Wells, one sister, Daisy Wells Miller, two nephews, Roy Terrance Wells and Anthony Meeks, two great-nephews Jonathan Morgan and Wilbert Varra, one brother–in-law, Cecil Meeks, one nephew-in-law, Captain Edward Morgan, and one dedicated cousin who was like a sister, Esther W. Lee.
D ianna graduated from Peabody High and Grambling State University. After her studies, she moved to Dallas, TX where she resided for 45 years. She worked for the Dallas School Board System and the Dallas Medical Care Facility.
D ianna leaves to cherish her memories always and forever two sisters, Johnnie Mae Wells Meeks and Debra (Ellis) Dodd of Alexandria, LA one brother, John Anderson Wells Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, thirteen nieces and nephews, Glenda, Angela, Marilyn, Jimmy, Theodore, Audrey, Marcia, Michelle, Karen, Christopher, Billy, Liz and Henry, thirty-three great nieces and nephews, and thirteen great, great grand-nieces and nephews.
