Obituary of Renaldo Wayne Clayton, 47

Renaldo Wayne Clayton was born on September 29, 1973, the first child born to the union of Lester Wayne Clayton and Jacquelyn Louise Bacon Clayton of Bunkie, Louisiana. As a child, Renaldo accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized by the late Rev. Phileman Chambers. He was a graduate of Bunkie Senior High School with the class of 1991. Renaldo departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bernadine Bacon Brown; maternal great-grandparents, Clyde and Mary Lou Bacon; paternal grandparents, Mr. Leslie and Louise Clayton; two uncles, Robert Charles Brown, Jr., and Amos Clayton; his father, Lester Wayne Clayton; and sister, Leslie Clayton. Among those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Monica Ardoin Clayton; his two children, Dejah Ardoin and Dyon Gatewood; his two grandchildren, Tra’Veyonna “Maddie” Jones and Jaceyon Jones; sister, LaRosa Vern Clayton; his loving mother, Jacquelyn Clayton; his besties, Paul McBean, Nadine Alexander, Alan Dale, Emma Gaines, Therica Johnson, Zach Guice, and Cornell Howard; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
