Obituary of Timothy Re Charles Nathan Roberts, 44

A service celebrating the life of Timothy Re Charles Nathan Roberts will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at New Christian Life Fellowship, 825 Stracener Street, Alexandria, LA 71301. Public Viewing will begin at 10:00 am and continue until the start of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. ~Life Story~ For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who love his appearing. II Timothy 4:6-8 Timothy Re Charles Nathan Roberts was born on February 24th, 1976 to Sylvia Ann Roberts Veal and Charles R. Veal. Timothy was baptized at an early age at First Union Baptist Church. Timothy studied at Tioga High School and later received his Certified Nursing Assistant certificate while working in the medical field. He later became gainfully employed at Wal-Mart until he became ill. Timothy enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing, family time, and going to church. He was a loving, kind, and giving person, who always kept a smile. Timothy entered eternal rest on Monday, August 17th, 2020 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Ann Roberts Veal, step-father, Nathaniel Gilbert Sr., grandfather Joe Nathan Roberts and grandmother Sarah Rainey. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Jasmine Roberts of Shreveport, LA; Aston and Sebastian Ducote of Hessmer, LA. Maternal grandmother, Ann Roberts Boudreaux (Michael) of Alexandria, La. Father, Rev. Charles R. Veal (Marjorie) of Boyce, La Five sisters, Kesha Fuller (Jason) of Princeton, TX, Breanna Hampton (George) of Alexandria, LA, Elisa Berry of Katy, TX, La Da’sha D. Roberts of Alexandria, LA and Tenisha Bradford-Gaston. Three brothers, Charles (Pookie) Harvey Jr. of Alexandria, La; Derrick Veal (ShaTonya) of Dallas, Tx, and Nathaniel Gilbert Jr. of Alexandria, la. One very special nephew and best friend, George Hampton Jr. (Geo), San Antonio, TX. A very special friend, Zendrea Whitehead of Alexandria, La.
