Obituary of Annie Phillips, 69
Annie Lee Dixon Phillips was born July 7, 1951 in Alexandria, LA to the Louis Charles Dixon, and Edna B. Dixon. Her earthly Journey ended on August 7, 2020 at Rapides Regional Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two brothers; James Leroy Earnest, and Neal Dixon and one sister; Diane Dixon.
She confessed Christ, and was baptized at an early age at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church by the late Rev. Williams. She later joined Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she was committed and served faithfully until her health failed.She was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1969. Annie Lee worked as a Banquet Manager in the Hotel Industry for over 30 years.Annie Lee had such a kind heart, she loved and cared for her family. Her passion was spending time with her family, and shopping with a love for fashion. She was a hard worker, always lending a helping hand to others. Her legacy of Christian, family and moral values will always be remembered in our hearts.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: Her loving husband, Steve Phillips, one sister, Ellner Guillory (Clifton), of Alexandria, LA; four brothers; Louis Charles Dixon, (Martha) of Polo Alto California, Eddie Dixon, Lawrence Dixon (Doris), and Carl Dixon; all of Alexandria, LA; a special great-niece, R’Rahgel Merritt, two special nephews; La’ Mont, and Darryl Dixon, 2 stepsons; Todd Phillips, and Keever Dotson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relations and friends.
