Betty Jones, 70

Obituary of Betty Jones, 70

Betty H. Jones Obituary I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at the day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 11 Timothy 4:7-8 Betty Joyce Hayward Jones was born June 2, 1950 to the parentage of the late Adolph Hayward and Blanche Dixon. She was a very loved woman by her family and many friends. She worked in dietary for many years at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, and she later worked in the child care field for many years as well. She was also a member of one of the first social clubs in Alexandria, La: “The Untouchables”. She loved and welcomed every soul she came across into her warm heart. She always lended a helping hand with a unforgettable smile. She also fought and won the battle against Breast Cancer in 2017. She was a very strong woman and earned her crown to be with the Lord. Betty transitioned from this life on Sunday, August 2, 2020. She leaves behind her loving husband of 29 years: Wilbert Jones, (3) Living Siblings: Samual Hayward (Eva Hayward), Bobby Hayward (Mildred Hayward), and Blanche Hayward (and a host of deceased siblings) (1) son Toriano Adaryl Hayward Sr., (3) daughters: Dwana Williams ( proceeded by the late Darrel Williams), Erica Laurent (mate in processing...), and Joyce Marie Gale (Vashon Gale) . She also departed from a host of grandchildren, (3) Great Grand Children: King, Ace, and Novah, a very special “homie” Shana Hayward, and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. ~Miller and Hill The Funeral Directors~
