Obituary of Leroy Wright, 69

On February 7, 1951, a beautiful bouncy baby boy was born to Hans and Celia Blackston Wright, they named him Leroy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Three brothers, James "JW". Wright, Isiah Wright Sr, Willie H. Wright Sr and his sister Mary Lee Wright Batiste. He departed his life on Sunday, July 12, 2020. Leroy was well known for his love for horses, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He was married to Margaret A. Wright, the mother of his four children for 32 years. He was employed by Patty's farm for more than 40 years, for which he was not only employed there, but he was family to Dr. Bernard and Gaynell Patty including their children Kakki, Lauren, and Scottie. He leaves to cherish his memories: Sons Leroy Wright Jr (Cynthia), Detrick Wright (Shawn) and Johnny Robertson; two daughters Karla Sykes (Eugene) and Cecelia Beasley (Christian); brother Hans Wright Jr ( Florence); sister-in-laws Joanna Wright and Linda Williams; 8 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren and his special friend Romona Sanders; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
