Obituary of Ronnell Ross, 58

Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy. Mr. Ronnell Ross, 58, resident of Bunkie, Louisiana and former native of Boyce, Louisiana passed in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. -MAY THE WORK I HAVE DONE, SPEAK FOR ME- LIFE REFLECTIONS “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7 Ronnell Ross was born June 4,1962 to the union of Nathaniel Ross and Rosa Lee Brown-Ross. He accepted Christ at an early age on June 9,1968 at Pilgrim Rest under the leadership of Rev. L.C William. January 2011 Ronnell became a member of Amazon Baptist Church in Bunkie, Louisiana under the leadership of Rev.Dexter Compton where he served as a faithful member until his death. Ronnell attended Boyce Elementary and graduated from A.Wettermark in 1980. He went into the workforce at International Papermill and worked there for 20 years until the plant closed. After that he became employee at Hexion and was employed there for 10 years until his time of death. Ronnell touched many people at his workplace and was a joy to be around, He was a dedicated employee and put his all into whatever he did. During his lifetime he was blessed with two loving daughters from a previous marriage. Later in life he united with Lorelia Moore on June 3, 2006. Ronnell transitioned to his new life on Sunday July 5, 2020 at Rapides Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosa Lee Ross. Ronnell leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Lorelia Moore of Bunkie, La, His father Nathaniel Ross of Boyce, La, His devoted daughters Mahogony Ross of Alexandria, La and Whitney Ross (Jerad) of Shreveport, La. Five brothers Donald Ross(Bridgette) of Boyce, La, His partner in crime and twin Donnell Ross(Yalounda) of Alexandria, La, Joseph Ross(Brenell) of Boyce, La, Michael Ross(Felicia) of Alexandria, La, and Roy Lee Thomas(Vickie) of Houston, Tx. Mother in law Rebecca Moore of Bunkie, La, Two step daughters Timeka Harris and Shalakus Woolridge of Bunkie, La, One step son Joshua Johnson of Bunkie, La. Left also to cherish his memories his five grandkids whom he adored, Aniyah Ross, Braylon Harris, Aubree Ross, Addison Ross, and Nevaeh Sherman; sisters-in-law: Beverly Moore, Betty Moore, Joyce Robinson, Olevia Franks, Cheryl Spears, and Phillis Moore; brothers-in-law; Leo Moore, John Robinson, James Francis, Alex Franks, and Troy Spears, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friend who loved him dearly.
