Obituary of Shirley Ann Calhoun-Reed, 54
We do not mourn the loss but cherish the memory of our dear loved one.
A service celebrating the life of Mrs. Shirley Ann Calhoun Reed will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Union Chapel Baptist Church, 20 Munson Rd., Cheneyville, LA 71325. Public viewing and visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
She will be laid to rest in the Springhill Cemetery in Lecompte, Louisiana immediately following the service.
Due to restrictions of COVID-19, seating is limited for social distancing purposes. Mask will be required for the health and safety of all attendees.

Sis. Shirley Ann Calhoun Reed, 54, of Lecompte, Louisiana was born on January 16, 1966 to the late Bert Calhoun, Sr. and Delphine Ross Calhoun. She departed her earthly life on June 13, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Shirley accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church in Cheneyville, Louisiana.
Shirley loved to go shopping, going out to eat, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bert Calhoun Jr; sisters, Rose W. Johnson and Dorothy Calhoun. Also, her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Sister Shirley Ann Calhoun Reed leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 25 years, Darrel L. Reed, Sr; her daughter, Tiffany W. Clark (Brandon); sons, Mark Woodruff, Jr.,(Creashaudalynn), Steven T. Woodruff, and Darrel L. Reed, Jr.; a bonus daughter Crystal Smith; sisters, Bobbye Dorsey, Cynthia Wilson, and Corelia Phillips; brothers, Wesley Lee Calhoun, and Christopher Gold; sisters in law, Anita Reed and Sharon Reed; brothers in law, Isiah Reed III, Bryan Reed, Patrick Reed and Bobb Reed. Father in Law, Isiah Reed, Jr; her grandkids that she loved so dearly, Keyvon, Kaysha, Braciera, Ar’Tavion, Terry Jr., Ja’Kyren, and Heaven. A host of godkids, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
