Obituary For Catherine Williams King To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 Catherine Williams King was born December 29, 1932 to the late Edna & John Burns. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, May 29, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was baptized at an early age and served faithfully at Magnolia Baptist Church until her illness prevented her from doing so. She was also a frequent visitor of many churches in the community. To say she loved the Lord and trusted in His Word is an understatement. Catherine worked at BoPeep Nursery but her life’s work was her children and family. She married Perry King, Sr. who preceded her in death. To this union six children were born. Perry "Chuck" King, Jr, who preceded her in death, Dorothy (Hank), Jerry King, James Earl (Marilyn), Joyce (Terry) all of whom reside in Houston, TX, and Vickie (Vincent) of Leesville, LA. Eleven grandchildren, Eighteen great-grandchildren loved “Mame or Grandma” all having their special memories to cherish. Catherine had one loving brother and was very protective of Cleveland Riley, Jr of Seattle, Washington, and a darling loving niece, Brenda Smith of Boyce, LA. To God Be The Glory!
