Obituary of Yolanda Wilson Green, 59
To Everything There Is A Season
A Time To Be Born:
Yolanda Elizabeth Wilson Green was born to Rudolph Wilson and Mary Moss Jackson on November 13, 1960, in Pineville, Louisiana. She was the first child out of six children.
A Time To Plant:
Yolanda was baptized at the tender age of 10 by Rev. W. A. White at the Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
A Time To Live:
Yolanda attended Peabody High School throughout her high school years. She was a graduate of the class of 1978. She was employed at Cabrini Hospital for over 10 years. Yolanda was known for the love and affection she showed through her beautiful smile and her calm spirit. After leaving the hospital, she dedicated her life to being the caregiver for her grandparents, nieces and nephews and her great-nieces and great-nephews. Yolanda was married in 1981 to Carl Michael Green, Sr. To this union one son was born, Carl Michael Green, Jr.
A Time To Die:
Yolanda departed this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Cabrini Hospital. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Percy and Sally Sullivan and her step-father Major Jackson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother and best friend, Mary Moss Jackson of Alexandria, LA, one son Carl Michael Green, Jr. (Jasmine), and one grandson Carter Michael Green. (Alexandria, LA). Her sisters Vallery Coleman, St James, LA, Dana Ellis of Alexandira, LA, Shondriaka Fisher of Eueless, TX. Three step-sisters, Reginia Moss, Detroit, MI,Kimberley and Lashonda Moss of Alexandria, LA. 2 brothers Renwick Wilson of Alexandria, VA and Terrence Moss of Alexandria, LA and a step-brother, Tommy Davidson of Pineville, LA., two special great nieces Ryleigh Winchester and Ava Grace Ellis of ALexandria, LA; dear friend, Karen Scott and a host of nieces and nephews.
