Obituary of Ronnie Ray Johnson, 59
Obituary
Ronnie Ray Johnson was born December 24, 1960 to George Johnson Sr. and Vera Lee Milton in Pineville, Louisiana. He entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 4, 2020, while in route to his home of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ronnie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at the tender age of 6yrs. old. He later completed his education in the Rapides Parish school system at Bolton High School where he excelled as a star athlete in football.
As an adult, Ronnie moved to California and gained employment with Werner Enterprises for many years as a truck driver. He then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where he gained employment as a Supervisor with Finish Line, Inc. where he dedicated many years of faithful service before becoming disabled. Ronnie was always a hard worker and adamant about taking care of his family which he loved very much.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, George Johnson Sr.; one brother, Keith O’Brien Foster; and one sister, Applise “Kay Kay” Williams.
Left to celebrate his life and cherish his memories are: his mother, Vera Lee Milton of Alexandria, LA; 2 brothers: George Johnson Jr. of Alexandria, LA and Taurus Foster (Jenny) of Norfolk, NE; 3 sisters: Jackie Anderson, (Garrick) of Indianapolis, IN, Monique Milton and Tiffany Milton of Alexandria, LA; 4 children: Tiffany Silas and Ronnie Johnson (Karshna) of Alexandria, LA, Shantae Elam of Irvine, CA, and Tamilea Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; 4 grandchildren: Devontay Krumvieda, Taijha Silas, Isaiah Silas, and Xavier Silas of Alexandria, LA; 2 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close family members and friends.
