Obituary of Barbara Young, 67

Barbara Ann Seagers Young was born on December10, 1952 to the Late Robert Seagers and Lucy Mae Keller Graham in New Orleans La. She ws Baptized at an early age at First Union Baptist Church in Bunkie La. Barbara Ann attended Carver High School in Bunkie La and graduated in the class of 1970. Upon graduation she worked at Cabrini Hospital in the Labor and Delivery for over 13 years. Barbara love and passion of caring for children led her to become a foster parent. She continued on this journey forover 20 years, while caring for more than 200 children. Barbara care extended to Special Needs, Long Term Care of Children . She also serviced Emergency care for children in need of short term care. Barbara ' s home was always open to family and friends. She touched so many people lives in so many ways. Barbara entered holy matrimony on November 27 , 1971with the love of her life, Robert Lee Young and to this Union three children was born. Barbara departed this life on December 23, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Seagers; Mother Lucy Mae Graham; Grandparents Joe Keller and Helen Randle and son Darrell Young. Barbara leave to cherish her memory, her loving, devoted Husband of 48 year s Robert Lee Young Sr. Of Alexandria , La : (3) sons Robert Lee Young Jr .
