Obituary of Alex Archinard Brown, 50
Reflections
Alex “A.B.” Archinard Brown was born on March 1, 1969 to Cliff L. Brown and Geraldine A. Brown in Homestead, Florida. He was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Charles F. Smith Sr at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church of Alexandria, Louisiana; which is now under the leadership of Rev. Herbert Batiste.
Alex attended Peabody Magnet School and graduated class of 1987. Upon graduation he matriculated to Southern University of Baton Rouge after which he enlisted into the Army National Guard and served in the Saudi War. Later he worked as a firefighter for Alexandria Fire Dept for eighteen years until his retirement.
Alex entered holy matrimony on December 23, 2004 with the the love of his life, Erika Foster and to this union one son was born Cameron.
Alex departed this life on December 6, 2019 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff L. Brown, his maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Archinard Sr and his paternal grandparents.
Alex leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted mother, Geraldine A. Brown of Alexandria, Louisiana; his loving and caring wife Erika Brown of Alexandria, Louisiana, Three sons; Jeremy LaCour of Hercules, California, Cameron A. Brown and Akeem Cannon of Alexandria, Louisiana; Two daughters; Kiarrah Beaudoin and Akeia Cannon of Alexandria, Louisiana; Two granddaughters Jayla LaCour of Hercules, California and Brooklyn Cannon of Alexandria, Louisiana; One brother; Dayved Brown of Phenix City, Alabama, one brother in law Kirk Foster of Houston, Texas with a host of special brothers, other relatives and friends.
