Obituary of Corldy Cornell McCrea

Corldy Nell “Booga” McCrea was born in Pineville, LA on January 25, 1957 to Desi M. Mitchell (Vorise ) and Gerald McCrea Sr. Corldy passed peacefully from this life on November 1, 2019 after a gradual decline in his health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family during the last days of his life.

Corldy was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. S. S. Mackie.

Those preceding him in death were his father Gerald McCrea Sr., his brothers Clyde Mitchell and Steve Vorise Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother Desi M. Vorise of Alexandria, LA; two (2) brothers Gerald McCrea Jr. and Michael Vorise of Alexandria, LA; one (1) sister Annette Vaught of Killeen, TX; and a loving friend Betty Millhouse of Alexandria, LA. Corldy’s memory will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
