Obituary of Roderick Tennie

Roderick Glenn Tennie departed this world on 

September 9, 2019. He was born September 11, 1959, in Alexandria Louisiana to late James & Viola Tennie. 

Roderick graduated from Peabody High School then after worked for Central Control for 20 plus years.

He was full of life and love his family dearly, it wasn’t nothing on this earth he was afraid of. Well known for the life of any crowd. Loved animals and riding his motorcycle along with attending trail rides.

He was proceeded in death by his parents James and Viola Tennie; grandparents Martha and Author Weekly. 

He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Donna Kay Tennie; six kids, Lakeytria Dotson (Kendrick Sr.), Kerry Simmons (Selena), Gloria Hartwell (Terrence), Clifton Simmons, Therron Simmons, Daphne Harris (Willie)and Darion Simmons; two brothers, Rev. Gregory Tennie (Linda) 

and Micheal Tennie; two sisters, Phyllis Moore (Leo) and Stephanie Williams (Cedric) all of Alexandria, Louisiana, fifteen grandkids and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and neighbor Milton Thomas and 

friend, Kenneth Lawson.
