Obituary of Mrs. Jennifer Elaine Glaude Jackson

Jennifer Elaine Glaude Jackson, fondly called “Jenny,” was born to Kathleen Wilturner and Joseph Wayne Glaude on September 20, 1969 in Lafayette, Louisiana.  She was the eldest of four siblings. On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, Jennifer entered into eternal rest.

She married Kerry Gerard Jackson on July 12, 2008, and they and their three sons (Trey David Joseph, Cameron Mekhi Jackson and Bryce Nicholas Jackson) resided in Pineville, Louisiana.  Jennifer was employed by the Sodexo Corporation and served the patients of the Rapides Regional Medical Center with care and dedication for 15 years as a Dietician Supervisor.

She was a devout and faithful member of the St. James Memorial Catholic Church, and a proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Beta Psi Chapter.

Jenny was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Julia Glaude Alexander and Zulma Marie Mouton; and grandfathers, Edrast Jerome Wilturner and Joseph Ewell Meche.

She is survived by her loving mother and father, her devoted husband and sons; siblings, Denise Marie Glaude, Cherie John Louis, Timothy Glaude, and Angela Ann Cross; mother and father-in-law, Judy and Jerry Jackson; sisters-in-law, Maurya and Hayley; brother-in-law, Shelton; nephews, Xavier, Dustin and Shelton III; nieces, Kaiya and Reagan; uncles, Eric Teschke, Anthony Noel and Ricky Meche; aunts, Stephanie Jackson and Rose Noel; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
