Obituary of Mr. Bobby James Dotson

Our Brother, Mr. Bobby James Dotson was born on November 20, 1952 in Pineville, Louisiana to the late William and Emma Burriell Dotson. Bobby was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Goodwill Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.T. Johnson.

After attending high school at Peabody High, Bobby later moved to Bronx, New York where he resided for 30 years. About 10 years ago, Bobby relocated back home to Alexandria, Louisiana.

Bobby J. Dotson leaves to cherish his memories: 2 brothers: William (Celeste) Dotson, Jr. and Wilford Dotson and 3 sisters: Velma Lewis, Linda (James) Singleton and Jerrie Hayward all of Alexandria, Louisiana, 3 favorite nephews: Demar Dotson of Tampa, Florida, Aaron Harrison of Alexandria, Louisiana and Danny Cheney, Jr. of Woodlands, Texas who

lovingly renamed Bobby “Dollar Bob” and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
