Obituary of Mrs. Bethy Ann Billops Recard

Bethy Ann Billops-Recard was born on September 17, 1959, to the union of Johnnie and Ray Billops in Pineville, Louisiana.

Boothie, as she was so affectionately called, transitioned on Thursday, June 11, 2019. She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Billops, Sr.; grandmother, Blanche Wilton; brother, Charles Billops; granddaughter, Cadynce Brass; and her ride-or-die friend, Sandra Faye Lair.

She leaves to cherish loving memories a husband, Byron L. Recard; mother, Johnnie R. Billops; brother, Ray Billops, Jr.; two sisters, Kathy Johnson (Kerri) and Shonna Wilton; five children, Camboda Billops, Keontae Billops, Charles Billops (Ramonica), Marcus Billops, and Holly Billops (Timothy); three grandkids, Cadrin Reed (Deja Booze), Cameirah Kyles, and Triniti Brass; two special grandkids, McKenzie Wilton and Braylin Williams; one great-grandson, Kian Isiah Reed; three nieces, Twarnette Wilton Hardison (Derrick), Antonia “Woogie” McNeal, and Shondneka Nicole Billops; one nephew, Joseph “Milkman” Wilton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
