Obituary of Mr. Henry Williams

Henry Williams entered into eternal peace and rest on Thursday, May 16, 2019. He was a resident of the Tiago Community Care Nursing Home.

He was born June 27, 1940 to the union of Onzie and Lillian D. Williams, Sr. Henry was one of seven children born to this union. He accepted Christ and was baptized, became a member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Boyce, Louisiana (Bayou Rapides). Later in his adult life, he confessed Christ and became a member of the Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church, under leadership of Rev. Nathaniel Bell Pastor.

Henry was educated in the Rapides Parish School System. He attended Peabody High School. He was employed with Wheaton Moving Company until he became ill.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Onzie Williams, and Lillian D. Williams, Sr.; sister, Eartha Williams; two brothers, Nashell Williams and Onzie Williams, Jr; and two sons, Henry Williams, Jr. and Troherro Keith Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Amanda Armstead; one son, Terrance Williams; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Aree Williams (Jessie) of Killeen, Texas.
