Obituary of Mr. Rodney Stevenson Jackson

Rodney Stevenson Jackson was born to the late William Jackson Sr. and Hazel Lucious Jackson on February 26, 1959. He entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Rodney worked at the City of Alexandria Animal Shelter. He graduated from Peabody Magnet High Class of 1978. He served un the United States Army. He was batized at an early age by the late D.D. Smith at Greater St. Lawerence Baptist Church. He lived each day of his life to his fullest. He leaves to mourn his wife Ava Clark Jackson; sons, Traveon Jackson, Suan Jackson, Zorius Mitchell all of Alexandria, one and only daughter Lakeshia Hymes of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Vera Jackson Alexander, Angela Jackson Harper (Ronnie), Donnie Jackson Hughes; and brothers, Harold T. Jackson, Donald Ray Jackson and Wayne L. Jackson, all of Alexandria, two aunts, Mary Loucious, of St. Maurice, Louisiana and Naomi Jackson of Alexandria and grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
