Obituary Mrs. Martha Marie Peterson Wilkins was born on March 31, 1938 in Rapides Grant Parish, Louisiana to the late Ben Peterson Sr. and Pearl Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Wilkins, brother(s) Jack Peterson, Henry Lee Peters, Clyde Peterson, Arthur Sullivan, Clarence Peterson and sister(s) Irene Peterson, Dorthy Watkins and Catherine Cole. Martha Wilkins was married to John L. Wilkins on December 24, 1958 born to this union and left to morn are her children Micheal (Jocelyn) Wilkins, Boyce, LA, Glenda Gayle Wilkins, Colfax, LA, Ronald (Marjorie) Wilkins, Killeen, TX and Donald (Sandy) Wilkins, Stafford, TX. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Micheal Cordez Wilkins, LaToya Wilkins, Jessica Felton, Shasta Blackshear, Joshua Wilkins, Trinity Wilkins, Vontrice Swafford, Dekevrick Wilkins, Nakia Wilkins, 8 great grandsons, brother Ben Peters Jr., Alexandria, LA, Sisters Bertha McKinney, CA and Estella Beaver, GA, sister(s)-in-Law(s), brother(s)-in-Law and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues. Martha was a dedicated servant of the Lord’s serving at Little Rock Baptist Church in Colfax, LA in various ministries and the church choir. Martha is well known for the meals she loved to cook for her family and friends and will truly be missed.
